I might give it a read then, even though funny books are not really my thing (but neither are tv comedies, and look where that's going).
I'm doing anthropology and archaeology in hopes of becoming a forensic anthropologist. Maybe. I don't know really, I'm not quite sure what it is that I want to do with my life.
Childcare actually sounds like fun. When I was younger I was convinced I wanted to end up working in childcare or as an elementary teacher. That went far :D
It isn’t just a funny book, it is pretty serious a lot of the time, just quite dry, dark humour throughout. I’m not really explaining it very well. It is a good book, well worth a read anyway :)
The forensic anthropology modules I did on my course were by far the most interesting, definitely the ones I enjoyed most. I wish I had taken the anthropology course instead, I think I would have enjoyed it more but there was no way I could have changed by the time I realised this :(
